Hercules Brabazon Brabazon after an extensive education in the arts and sciences at both home and the continent led a life of travel, art study and painting.

He was able to do this having inherited substantial wealth and said of himself that he lived for art and sunshine.

Brabazon was the complete gentleman amateur and did not show or sell his work until he was well advanced in age. He then held many successful exhibitions at the New English Arts Club and the Goupil Gallery, Bond Street.
