Ernest Stamp was a Yorkshire artist working in Hampstead. Many of his portrayals of Hampstead scenes such as Heath Street, Perrins Court, Whitestone Ponds are held by Burgh House or by Camden Council.

This oil on board painted in 1933 depicts Holly Mount with George Romneys house prominent.
