Edward John Burrow: 1869, UK, England, Wellington Died: 1935, UK, England, Cheltenham

Printmaker, publisher and painter. The son of a watchmaker, Burrow attended Cheltenham College as a boarder before training as a chemist and pharmacist. In 1900 he founded a publishing business in Cheltenham with a community of 350 artists, writers, and printers craftsmen - all set up on a profit sharing basis. He also worked in other media including watercolour.

School of Art, Aberystwyth University hold his etchings of the Welsh countryside.

Signed, framed and glazed in original untouched condition.
