Item Description

Thomas Nicholson Tyndale was a British artist and painter in watercolours of bucolic scenes. He painted many cottage scenes in his Surrey and his native Sussex.

Tyndale was the cousin of the artist Walter Tyndale and whilst in London lived in Acton, west London from where he held exhibitions.

He also exhibited at the Dudley Gallery Art Society and the Egyptian Hall, Piccadilly.

Tyndale also contributed twenty watercolours for the book Worcestershire published 1909 by A&C Black.
