Etching of a view of St Pauls Cathedral from Fleet Street by Alfred J. Bennett (1861-1923).

Alfred Bennett worked as a jeweller and after the success of his paintings moved to Knebworth where he set up a studio.

His paintings, drawings and etchings depict many London scenes.

Alfred Bennett exhibited at the Royal Watercolour Society, the Royal Academy and the Fine Art Society; his works are held at Brighton Museum and Art Gallery as well as other public collections.

Picture is framed and glazed.
